New Single: "Promises" by Hunger Moon

Motivational Muses Review | by Anastasia Logan

"Promises" from Hunger Moon is an emotionally invoking single with soothingly soaring vocals that rise and fall like waves on a coastline. The fluidity of this track will captivate listeners till the last note sounds.

Written from a place of frustration, "Promises" emulates the fall of a relationship and the aftermath. A narrative that is continued from their previous release "Patience." Vocals from Natalie Jenkins are heavenly but express the pain and anger of promises long forgotten. In a way they are truly heartbreaking yet still soothe a worried soul. Harmonies returned by James Attwood add a rich depth to this track.

Outside of the impeccable storytelling within the lyrics another element with this track that drew me in were the dimensional dynamic shifts. Every crescendo indicates an emotional peak that is closely followed by a vocal burst from Jenkins. The shifts from soft and calm to loud and turbulent make "Promises" a stand out track.

Hunger Moons are a powerhouse who have created a captivating masterpiece with "Promises." Make sure to give this new single a listen and follow them on all social media to stay updated on all upcoming projects.
