New Single "Killdozer" by Big Smile

Listening to “Killdozer” makes me want to pick up a guitar and play on it like no one is watching me. This emotionally powerful song by Big Smile captures the pain and frustration that this band has experienced and the emotional release that they had while playing. This song is so complex yet beautiful I couldn’t stop listening to it on repeat!

This song in my interpretation is about a loved one from the writer who sadly passed away due to being misdiagnosed and the health care insurance system in America. The lyrics are so thought-provoking and heartbreakingly beautiful. The lyrics brought me to tears listening to the pain and raw emotions from the singer’s performances of this piece. At the same time, it feels like a fitting tribute to someone who clearly had a huge impact on the lives of the songwriter and band itself!

The thing that makes an impact on me right away is the guitars! With such dark and powerful lyrics, the guitars surprisingly provide this aggressive and light feeling to the song through mixing both clean and dirty guitar feedback! While the guitars dominate the song, the relax and groovy drumming brings everything together in harmony. Just like the lyrics, the instrumentals tell the story of a person’s life and flows with such ease throughout the song!

Mark my words, this song will be a smash hit! The song is something that I was able to listen to on repeat and still find little things that make an impact on me. Once everything is back to normal, this band is bound to headline a couple shows based on this impressive new track!
