Who is Alice Triskel?

Alice Triskel is a composer and singer from Barcelona who takes a mixing pot approach to the music she creates. Inspired by sounds of the 80s, 90s an early 2000s, she finds a way to bring the decades together and constructs a sound that is truly her own.

"I mix everything I like and it has influenced me since I was a girl, it has a little bit of everything, depending on the theme. My great influences have been international. I adored the energy and talent of artists like Freddy Mercury, Michael Jackson. Female voices with personality such as Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner or even Lady Gaga. I also loved it the sound of bands like Depeche Mode, Portishead, Massive Attack."

Music has allowed her to connect with herself and the world in a new way.

"For me music is everything. Creating music has become as vital as breathing, my way of feeling fulfilled, of expressing myself, of communicating, of living."

Currently, Alice Triskel has released nine singles and all of them are prime examples of combining these styles to create something that is entirely her own. But these releases would not be possible without the collaboration with her producer. They always tend to be on the right page about how something should sound and it is this connection that can be heard in song.

Her newest single, "The Game" is full of energy and challenges the belief that love songs need to be a ballad. This single expresses her unique style as an artist and not fearing away from the status quo.

"It is my particular way of singing a love song. I decided to make a love song different from what we are used to. Because who said that a love song has to be a ballad? "

One of the most important aspects of music is the connection to the listener and how they fee while listening to the music presented to them. For Alice Triskel, this emotional connection is always present when creating a new track.

"I try to make listeners enjoy and feel the same as I do in different life situations. Joy, euphoria, sadness, anger."

Alice Triskel is an artist who does not slow down. Her future plans are filled with spreading her music to everyone and make new connections. Her musical journey is only just beginning and we can expect wonderful things from this new face in pop.

"Create, create and create more music. Touring in the future, collaborating with other artists and expanding my music and sound to more parts of the world and more music lovers."
